    The Ethical Fashion Show is the only platform in Europe dedicated exclusively to ethical and sustainable fashion, and where it is shown that the market is increasingly receptive to this type of products. Portugal is following this growth, this year with ten brands represented.

    The Ethical Fashion Show runs from January 16 to 18 in Berlin, Germany, to present the sustainable fashion trends for the fall winter 2018/19. It is the only platform in Europe dedicated exclusively to ethical and sustainable fashion. Portugal has been participating over the years with some brands, but this year it participates with ten. Through Cenit, which is supported by Portugal 2020, four brands are participating, namely Vegan NAE, Elementum, Näz and Light Factory. Individuals participate in Ten Points, Marita Moreno, Ultrashoes, Toddler / WAT, Kozii and Green Boots. 

    In addition to the exhibitors of the 120 brands from all over Europe that are represented, the sustainable fashion fair is also the stage for several parades and presentations on sustainability, biological consumption and new environmentally friendly technologies. The presentation of eco-friendly products, new materials and new technologies show that the future of fashion can be ethical and sustainable.   • Epicur - Janeiro 2018

    Only open to professionals, the Ethical Fashion Show runs until January 18, during Berlin fashion week, featuring three lines (vegan, sustainable and upcycling) from Spring / Summer and Autumn / Winter collections, in Kraftwerk Berlin, an old power station that has become the hotspot of sustainability and innovation in fashion. In the event, which counts not only on the presence of sustainable fashion brands but also on parallel actions such as  lectures and discussions, there are almost ten Portuguese brands (fashion, footwear and accessories) .

    Portuguese designer Marita Setas Ferro is presenting the first sustainable collection of her brand, Marita Moreno, at the Ethical Fashion Show, which brings together the main players in the sustainable segment of the fashion industry. "Ethics, transparency and social responsibility have always been intrinsic values ​​in Marita Moreno," says Marita Ferro, in a statement from the Portuguese brand. "We have a commitment as a company to minimize environmental impacts."

    The latest collection's vegan line features timeless design and the quality of natural materials such as organic cotton, certified cork, burel and rubber (for soles). With regard to the upcycling line (a kind of improved version of the recycling trend), it is made of materials that remain. And the sustainable line mostly uses non-chromium leather.

  • Portugal Global - Janeiro 2018

    The brand will feature three lines, with fully sustainable parts. The Vegan line uses no animal components in the manufacture of parts and is produced with natural materials, such as organic cotton, certified cork and rubber. In turn, the sustainable line is made from non-chromium and PU skin. Finally, the upcycling line is made from remnants of past collections. The event will feature not only trendy brands from the sustainable universe, but also parallel actions such as lectures, lectures, discussions and guided tours. The fair will take place at the famous "Kraftwerk Berlin", a disused power station that has become the stage for exhibitions, shows and events.
