PORTUGUESE CREATORS AND BRANDS FILL NYFW SCHEDULE
New York Fashion Week (NYFW) starts today and brings with it several Portuguese names. Katty Xiomara and Miguel Vieira will step on the passerelle, with the support of Portugal Fashion, but Luís Buchinho, Carla Pontes and the brands Pé de Chumbo, Babash and Marita Moreno will also be present in one of the most important fashion weeks of the world.
Marita Moreno will present her collection tomorrow at the Flying Solo, multi-brand store on West Broadway. This space already sold the pieces of the brand and, according to Marita Setas Ferro, creative director of the brand, sales balance is positive.
On Monday and Tuesday it is the turn of respectively Katty Xiomara and Miguel Vieira to make their parade at Pier 59 Studios, with support from Portugal Fashion, in what will be the third consecutive participation of this organization in New York Fashion Week.
According to Diário de Notícias, Luís Buchinho, Carla Pontes and the brands Pé de Chumbo and Babash will also be present and will do static shows, this time with the support of the program Next Step, a commercial arm of Portugal Fashion.
